Comparison of 180° and 360° Arc Data Acquisition to Measure Scintigraphic Parameters from Gated Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography Myocardial Perfusion Imaging: Is There Any Difference?

OBJECTIVE The aim of the current study was to compare 180° and 360° data collection modes to measure end diastolic volume (EDV), end systolic volume (ESV) and ejection fraction (EF) values of the cardiac system by gated myocardial perfusion tomography. METHODS Thirty-three patients underwent gated myocardial perfusion tomography. Single photon emission computed tomography data of patients' he...

Automatic Acquisition of Artifact Nouns in French

This article describes a method which allows acquiring artifact nouns in French automatically by extracting predicateargument structures. Two strategies are presented: the supervised strategy and the semi-supervised strategy. In the supervised method, the semantic classes of artifact nouns are recognized by identifying the predicate-argument structures with the syntactic patterns of the given p...

Image reconstruction in 2D SPECT with 180◦ acquisition

This work concerns 2D SPECT imaging with uniform attenuation in the activity region. In this paper, it is shown that exact and stable reconstruction does not require the data to be known over 360◦ as has been previously assumed. An angular range of 180◦ is sufficient in parallel-beam geometry. A reconstruction formula which uses only data on a half-turn is provided with implementation details. ...
